M Cut Her Hair!
She really did! And it's short! (It was a shock, but it grows on you. Pfft?)
And in other news...
35 days, 6 countries, 5 languages, 4800km of driving, 5 flights, 22 hours of train rides, and about 3500 pictures later, the gang is back in the best country in the world. Yes, it's a cliche, but we are without exception glad to be home from Europe among friends and family.
After spending the weekend catching up on hugs at my hug bank in Waterloo, I started work at Aseco on Monday the 13th where I'm working as a junior controls engineer. The work is quickly ramping up, and so I'm moving to Oakville this weekend to avoid the 3 hour commute to/from Woodstock. GTA, here I come (and yeah, for us country folk Oakville is in the GTA). Coincidentally, my first project involves GE Lighting, the company where M had her last co-op term only 2 months ago.
Convocation is this weekend, so I'm looking forward to having one last get-together of elec2005 before realistically accepting that it'll be the last time we're all going to be together.
For the rest of the Summer, a few events are coming up...
- MS Bike Tour in late July - A fundraiser for MS where participants ride from Grand Bend to London and then back the next day. Don't worry, it's not hard! I'll be riding with Chris's family like last year, and Dave Z is supposed to join us. With any luck, M will be able to as well.
- Canada Day camping - I was invited to go to Sudbury for 11 days of camping but unfortunately can't take that kind of vacation. Instead, I'm going camping with M for the long weekend at a friend of hers.
- Learning what exactly a PLC is - so I don't get fired.
- Moving to Oakville - soon...
- M and my 1 year anniversary - :)

Congrats on the anniversary!
Oakville...GTA...hmm. If you don't live 30 miles from the CN Tower you live in rural Canada.

Wait a sec!! It's not 1 year yet! That's exam time! There's like an entire month and a half! It's not that soon, is it? It's not nearly soon enough to even start thinking about exams... I have an entire design report to write! I still have like 5 midterms to write! No way is exam time coming...
*sigh*
well, at least there's something to look forward to...
