Bloody River Hike

They’re pretty literal around here.
Anyway, the hike was incredible. The ‘ghaut’ or canyon flows over slippery rocks and boulders between cliffs of mud, trees and rock. There are a number of collapsed waterfalls to see. The highlights of the trip included two rope climbs that had thankfully been prepared by others, a bat cave, and the towering waterfall at the end. Since it was impossible to pass this final waterfall, we have no idea what came upriver.
